I absolutely LOVE this design. It's a little bit different to the average neck warmer/scarf with it's unique side split that looks very chic.
When I put mine on, I actually felt a little fancy!
I asked my husband to wear mine (you can see us in the last 2 photos) and he said, and I quote -
'It feels like all the good things you want in a scarf without the end bits going everywhere' - haha, it's actually the perfect description!
This goregous wardrobe staple has been hooked up in 100% Australian made, grown and owned pure Corriedale wool in the colour Waratah- deep red with highlights of dessert yellow. The stitch technique creates and thermal liike crocheted fabric that is incredible warm and soft and it just looks fantastic.
Here's an exert about the yarn from Bendigo Woollen Mills website-
'Wollemi was the first first farm-to-yarn creation at Bendigo Woollen Mills in 2025 and a celebration of Australian wool.
Inspired by the unique natural beauty of Australia, we worked with single-origin Corriedale fleece, sourced from Tony Manchester’s Roseville Corriedales in the Riverenia region of New South Wales, to create a soft, stunning yarn range. '
Isn't that just absolutely fabulous?
There so many different ways to wear this design and you can try them all. It's interesting the way I first put it on is different to the way my husband put it on and I love that. I guess now I'm going to have make him his own but for now, you can have this one !
